Here’s your friggin’ tree. It’s a rusty 944 header. Merry whatever. Is it January yet?

I don’t have the time/energy/whatever to do anything else this year, so I put up whatever was in my living room. The Puffalumps are very good, though.

Correction [12/26/19] : I originally attributed the rusty exhaust to Sorry for Party’s 944, but apparently that one broke before I could get it. This exhaust chunk came from Florida Man instead.

Right there with you. We don’t have our tree up yet and honestly may not put one up. The holidays are rough - too many bad things in the past around that time that just make it a dreary time of year. :(

Eh, I’m doing. This i s the worst time of the year, TBH. I’m always reminded of how terrible we are to each other since this seems to be the only time we help a lot of vulnerable folks out, or on the flip side, get really stupid over inconsequential crap like parking spaces or the accumulation of stuff .

The most wonderful time of the year is really early fall. Not too cold, not too hot. You’re always glad sane weather is back. It’s good hoon weather because you want to be outside. Also, Oktoberfests are my favorite kind of beer. Malty! Sweet! Give it to me. I’m no pumpkin spice fan, but the pie itself is divine. Same goes with pecan pie, or sweet potato, or any number of mildly spiced-sweet fall pastries. We’ve even got pumpkin pie kolaches at a lot of the really good kolache joints. Bring back fall, dang it.
